Chess Club

For one of my School assignments I needed to participate in the community for at least 5 hours a week.
Jan had been talking to me about how she wanted to start Chess Club at Brookwood Elementary for quite sometime.  When this assignment came up, we decided to work together and make it happen.

It was a lot of work (much more then required, but so much fun).

Last day of Chess Club for me.

Andrew was so sweet, and came to volunteer on Friday mornings.

A weekend at CMU

Andrew has been away this weekend to visit

... the school we are hopping to attend next fall for Andrew's Masters Program.

We are so excited that he was invited to come out for interviews and visit the campus.

But frankly I MISS MY HONEY.

He will be home in 3 hours and 57 minutes.  SO basically for the next three hours and 57 minutes I will getting nothing productive done because I AM SO EXCITED TO SEE HIM.

This is a picture of Andrew with the Searle's oldest son. He has been staying this weekend with one of his really good buddies Spencer Searle and his family.

How can you not love that???

Let the countdown continue....

p.s. Don't forget to wish Andrew good luck on the GMAT test.  He is taking it on Satuday October 15, 2011 at 9:00 AM.
Notice the countdown clock on the right side of our blog, counting down to GMAT domination.
